Health & Wellness Day 2014
St. Luke’s Elmore Center for Community Health will host Health & Wellness Day on Saturday, October 25 from 7 – 11 am at North Elementary School, 290 East 12th North in Mountain Home.
The event will feature the return of popular offerings including reduced rate flu shots, fasting blood draws & PSA screenings, free osteoporosis screenings, free BMI measures, and St. Luke’s Mountain States Tumor Institute’s inflatable colon walk-through education station.
Pre-registered participants will receive reduced-rate, fasting blood draws for $25 ($30 walk-in rate). This test includes cholesterol, A1c levels and thyroid hormone (TSH) levels. Lab test requires 12 hour fasting prior the blood draw. The PSA blood test is offered at a reduced pre-registration rate of $12 ($15 walk-in). Registrations forms are available at the front desk at St. Luke’s Elmore and the lobby of St. Luke’s Clinic Trinity Mountain or you can email firstname.lastname@example.org for a registration form.
Flu shots are $16 and will only be offered to pre-registered participants. Anyone who wishes to receive the flu shot must pre-register and must be 18 years or older. Walk-ins cannot be accepted for flu shots. Anyone who is unable to attend the health fair should contact their primary care physician to receive a flu shot.
Egg White Delight McMuffins donated by McDonald’s in Mountain Home will also be available free to participants while supplies last.
