Mountain Home Highland Games

& World Fair

Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Carl Miller Park

Free fun family event!! We will have Scottish Highland Games, many different cultural foods and entertainment. There will be a Freestyle Bagpiping Contest. Kids highland games and small carnival, Clans, Beer Garden, Craft Vendors and a raffle.

The Highland Games will have all 9 heavy events, kids games will be determined as to what events they will have closer to the date. Registration for Highland Games will be from 8am to 9am. Freestyle Bagpipe contest is hosted by City of Trees Pipes and Drums.  There will be a first and second place cash prize (amounts will change as registrations come in but first place will at least be $100). Registration for the contests will be from 12pm to 1pm and the showdown will begin at 1pm.  Just added the Excalibur pull will be at this event to see if you can pull the sword from the stone!!!

Also this year we will have a drawing contest for any students in Elmore county that are enrolled as a Junior or Senior in High School. The winner will recieve $50 in cash and an art kit and their design will go on all of our shirts!! The contest will start when school is back in session, you can be in traditional school, private, alternative or home schooled you just have to show proof that you are indeed enrolled in school.

For athletes and bagpipes the cost to register is $25 and that includes lunch and a shirt.  Kids games are always free. We do offer a military discount online registration.

To guarantee a shirt for the game you must pre-register before October 1st, 2015.  

(Even if you think you may come you should still register as you do not have to pay at time of registration you can pay on the field but it will ensure you get a shirt.)
