Mountain Home High School presents...
Little Shop of Horrors
Tickets available at the door: $4 students, $6 adults
MHHS presents the musical comedy Little Shop of Horrors April 14-16 at 7pm in the MHHS gym. This all-school musical production is a joint effort brought to you by the choir and drama departments with direction by Taunya Page, musical direction by Michael Stear, and choreography by senior Jasmine Hunt. Feed the need for musical hilarity with this delicious sci-fi smash musical about a man-eating plant! A Broadway and Hollywood hit, the show has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world. The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" in honor of his co-worker crush. This singing carnivorous plant promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it—BLOOD! Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out-of-this-world origins and intent towards global domination! One of the longest-running Off-Broadway shows, Little Shop Of Horrors has been produced worldwide to incredible success. Tickets will be sold at the door $4 students $6 adults.
The show is not recommended for children under 13. As this is not an Encore Co. production, season tickets are not accepted for this show.
