Air Force Appreciation Day

"One Town, One Team"

Air Force Appreciation Day, also known as AFAD, is a day to honor the brave men and women who have served and are serving their country with bravery, dedication and self sacrifice.

The theme of year 2018 is One Town, One Team and will be held on Saturday, September 8th starting with the parade at approximately 10:30 am.

Air Force Appreciation Day begins with a fly-over to kick things off and this means it's time to get the parade going and have some fun! Local businesses, organizations and community members from Mountain Home and the Air Force Base join together with floats and displays of all shapes and sizes as they parade through the main streets of Mountain Home and make their way down to Carl Miller Park. Some celebrate with hand outs of candy, coupons, gear with company logos, stuffed animals, and so much more. This family friendly event is one you do not want to miss!!

Help show your appreciation for the brave men and women who help protect us everyday! You can participate in the Air Force Appreciation Day by visiting the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce and completing an application.
