USBC Elmore County

Elmore County United States Bowling Congress.  We are the bowlers of the past and the future. We are always welcome new members.  We sponsor activities, events, fund raisers and promote the good sport of bowling in the community of Mtn. Home and Mtn. Home AFB.

We are a non-profit association that is composed of adults and youth bowlers who have paid a membership to join the USBC and local association.  We recognize and support Special Olympics both adults and youth.  Membership is $16 for men, $17 for women and youth membership $9.

The Association Board is created from volunteers that meet once a month during the bowling season to discuss “events and fund raising” ideals.  We are able to award two scholarships per year to our local graduating high school senior totaling $500 each through bake sales and raffles.

We purchased equipment for the Recreation Department to promote the sport of bowling outside the local bowling centers and help bring the “First Frame” to the youth bowlers of today.

Youth Championship Tournament is held each year in October.  In 2015 we were able to award over $2,500 in scholarship prize funds through sponsorships and fund raisers outside our regular budget.

Our Annual City Championship Tournament is held each year in March for the adults and we sponsor the top five bowlers for both men and women to participate in the “High 5” each year.  These top bowlers consistently bring home 1st place and bragging rights until the next year for the State of Idaho.

Youth/Adult tournament is held each year in April to bring both generations together and keep the ball rolling to grow the sport of bowling and have some fun.
